How To Get Song Lyrics in VRChat

Using VRC Lyrics with TTS Voice Wizard

Lyrics can be sent from BigAtomikku/VRC-Lyrics to TTS Voice Wizard​

  1. Download the latest release of VRC Lyrics from https://github.com/BigAtomikku/VRC-Lyrics

  2. In VRC Lyrics click the Settings cog and change the Port to 4026. This will allow VRC Lyrics to connect to TTS Voice Wizard. Then close the settings. If you wish to use VRC Lyrics standalone then you would leave the Port as 9000 to send directly to VRChat instead of TTS Voice Wizard

  1. In TTS Voice Wizard go to Integrations > Heartrate + OSC Listener and "Activate OSC Listener". Now TTS Voice Wizard will receive lyrics data from VRC Lyrics on port 4026. I would recommend that you enable "Activate OSC Listener on Start" otherwise you will need to manually activate the OSC listener whenever you restart the program.

  1. Now in TTS Voice Wizard in the Integrations > Media Integrations page you can use the {lyrics} variable to output live song lyrics. You can use {nline} to create a "new line" before the lyrics. Go here to find out about other compatible variables
note

Due to the lowest recommended refresh time for the VRChat chatbox being 1500ms it's possible for some lyrics in really fast songs (think Eminem) to be skipped.
