Using Translations

tip

It is recommened to use a Voice Wizard Pro Key for better translations and extended language support

Getting Started with Translations

From the Text to Speech tab you can select a Translation Language to begin translating. If the voice you are using can not speak the language you are translating to then there will be a corresponding error message in the log. The Azure speech option has voices for nearly all supported languages.

Translation Settings

To view the translation options in TTS Voice Wizard navigate to Speech Provider > Translation.

The General Translation Settings apply to using either a DeepL key, Voice Wizard Pro key, or Azure Speech Translations.

Text in Translated Langauge

Enable this setting to have text appear in the language you are translating to.

TTS Voice in Translated Language

Enabled this setting to have the TTS audio in the language you are translating to.

Customizable Translation Outputs

To include the text in the original language and the translation language in a single message use the Custom Translation Text Output. You can use these variables to customize your output: {originalText}, {translatedText}, {inputLangCode}, {inputLangName}, {outputLangCode}, {outputLangName}, {nline}

If enabled this setting overrides the "Text in Translated Langauge" option

Here is an example format for the custom translation output: [{inputLangCode}] {originalText}{nline}[{outputLangCode}] {translatedText}
